Regeneron said during its Q4 earnings call earlier that the company is in the process of expanding its manufacturing capabilities into Ireland. "Over the long term with expansion of our international operations, we expect to achieve a tax efficient operating model," the company said, noting the establishment of the new manufacturing facility in Ireland as one step, along with the migration of certain intellectual property in its late stage antibody pipeline to Ireland. The company sees the steps allowing it to get "favorable" tax rates beginning in the 2017 year, it added.
