| theflyonthewall.com: | Dr Reddy’s Vizag plant in India gets U.S. FDA clearance, Live Mint reports | | LiveMint.com is reporting that Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd (RDY) has received FDA clearance for one plant in India and given a minor observation at the other. Dr Reddy’s Bachupally plant in Andhra Pradesh received one 483, or an observation from the investigator that there is some deviation from current Good Manufacturing Practices, or cGMPs. Meanwhile, its Vizag facility, which had previously been given 483s, was cleared by the team. The team of inspectors from the U.S. FDA is also expected to inspect Lupin’s Mandideep facility in Madhya Pradesh and Ranbaxy’s Tonsa plant in Punjab by the end of this year.
