07:57 EDTRBSRBS, Cottle, settle lawsuit over bonus, Telegraph reports
A lawsuit between Royal Bank of Scotland and Gary Cottle, the former head of risk in the investment banking unit, has been settled, the Telegraph reports. RBS had asked a court to block a GBP700,000 bonus awarded to Cottle before his dismissal, arguing that the former executive did not "deserve" the final portion of his bonus because he refused to accept an alternative role when his unit was restructured in 2011. Terms of the settlement have not been disclosed. Reference Link
