Cubic Energy (QBC) announces that effective December 31, 2012 it received an extension until March 31, 2013 as to the due date of its Wells Fargo Energy Capital debt under its WFEC Credit Facility, including both the $5M WFEC convertible term note and the outstanding amounts of approximately $20.87M under its WFEC revolving credit facility; and that effective December 31, 2012 it received an extension until April 1, 2013 as to the due date of its debt due of $2M to Calvin Wallen III, an affiliate of the company.

Japan's Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group is interested in buying General Electric's (GE) railway-leasing business, says the Wall Street Journal, citing sources. Wells Fargo (WFC) and other U.S. financial institutions have also shown interest in GE Capital Rail Services, which may be worth around $4B, added the Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the matter.
