Partner Communications announced that it was served with a lawsuit and a motion for the recognition of this lawsuit as a class action, filed against Partner and other telecommunication operators on February 6 in the Jerusalem District Court,. The claim alleges that the Defendants do not comply with the requirements set by the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Regulations of 2009. If the lawsuit is recognized as a class action the total amount claimed against the Defendants, is estimated by the plaintiffs to be approximately NIS 361M. :theflyonthewall.com

Scailex announced in a notice to the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange yesterday after that market's close that it has hired Deutsche Bank (DB) and Lazard Freres to advise it in the sale of its 44.5% stake in Partner Communications (PTNR), reported Globes. Partner Communications announced, following the company's entering into an amendment to its brand licence agreement dated April 28 with Orange Brand Services Limited, a member of the France Telecom Group, for the use of the Orange brand, that the parties have signed an amendment to the Amendment Agreement. According to the said amendment, the commencement date for payment of the agreed royalties for a period of 15 years has been revised to April 1 and the establishment of a mutually acceptable procurement arrangement is no longer a condition for the payment of royalties. :theflyonthewall.com
