17:04 EDTPRUPrudential appoints Robert Falzon as CFO, announces other management changes
Prudential Financial has named Robert Falzon as executive VP and CFO, succeeding the retiring Rich Carbone, effective March 4. Carbone held the CFO position for 16 years. Ken Tanji will become senior vp and treasurer, reporting to Falzon; John Hanrahan will return to the U.S. to become senior vice president, CAO and CFO for the International Businesses; and Shoichiro Ichitani will succeed Hanrahan as president of Prudential of Japan. Hanrahan and Ichitaniís new roles will become effective on April 1.

16:24 EDTPRUPrudential says Inversiones has revised prospectus for tender offer
Prudential Financial announced that Inversiones La Construccion, the investment subsidiary of the Chilean Construction Chamber, has revised the prospectus for the pending tender offer by a subsidiary of ILC to acquire up to 13.1% of the outstanding shares of Administradora de Fondos de Pensiones Habitat S.A., a provider of retirement services in Chile that trades under the symbol HABITAT CI on the Santiago Stock Exchange. As previously announced, Prudential expects to acquire indirectly between approximately 34%-40% of AFP Habitat from ILC, depending on the results of the tender offer, which commenced on January 28, and, unless extended, will expire on February 26.
