07:25 EDTPLUG, WMTPlug Power confirms follow-on GenKey order from Wal-Mart
Plug Power (PLUG) confirms the company has received a follow-on GenKey purchase order from Wal-Mart (WMT) to add an additional, seventh, GenKey site to the original six-site contract it announced in February. This additional site in Sterling, IL consists of 286 GenDrive fuel cell units and is planned to deploy in Q3. The add-on Sterling, Illinois GenKey site is currently in the planning stages and is expected to be deployed by the end of Q3.

CurrentC, the mobile payment application funded by Wal-Mart (WMT), Target (TGT), Best Buy (BBY) and others, will see an early trial run next month, Bloomberg reported earlier, citing three people familiar with the situation. A spokesperson for Lowe's (LOW) said the consortium behind the app expects an official launch in Q3, and Bloomberg noted that CurrentC will compete with more "established" offerings such as Apple's (AAPL) Apple Pay and Google's (GOOG) Android Pay.
