Plug Power (PLUG) confirms the company has received a follow-on GenKey purchase order from Wal-Mart (WMT) to add an additional, seventh, GenKey site to the original six-site contract it announced in February. This additional site in Sterling, IL consists of 286 GenDrive fuel cell units and is planned to deploy in Q3. The add-on Sterling, Illinois GenKey site is currently in the planning stages and is expected to be deployed by the end of Q3.

China will launch more fiscal support policies for "new-energy" vehicles for 2016 to 2020 when the current subsidy program expired at the end of 2015, said China Daily, citing a notice the State Council released Monday. New-energy vehicles include pure electric ones, plug-in hybrids and fuel cell vehicles, the report noted. Sales of physical video game products, including consoles, games and accessories, rose 24% from the same month of last year to $736.4M in the U.S. in June, reported VentureBeat, citing NPD Group data. Spending on games slid 3% year-over-year to $286.8M, the report noted, with NPD stating that sales of launch titles this June "did not compare favorably" to those launched in 2013. The report also noted that PS4 again outsold Xbox One in the month.
