10:17 EDTPANLUniversal Display rallies after firm begins coverage with Buy rating
Shares of Universal Display advanced after Deutsche Bank initiated coverage of the stock this morning with a Buy rating and a $45 price target. Deutsche Bank analyst Vishal Shah wrote in a note to investors that Universal Display's shares are undervalued given the firm's view that the company's products deliver better performance than competing technology. Also, Shah foresees greater adoption of OLED, or organic light-emitting diode, displays into mobile devices and televisions forthcoming and expects Universal Display to be a key beneficiary. In early trading, Universal Display shares were up $2.15, or 6.91%, to $33.26.
