Earlier today in a regulatory filing, Orbitz disclosed that on June 20, Chris Orton, SVP & COO, resigned from Orbitz Worldwide, effective July 2, to take a position outside the travel industry. Sam Fulton, who joined the company in 2002 and currently serves as SVP, Global Product Strategy, will assume the role of SVP, U.S. Consumer Travel & President, Orbitz.com, with responsibility for the Orbitz.com and CheapTickets brands. Chris Brown, who joined the company in 2006 and currently serves as GVP, Mobile, will assume the role of GVP & Chief Product Officer.

Goldman upgraded the Americas Internet sector to Attractive to Neutral based on more reasonable valuations, reduced expectations, and strong sector growth. As part of the sector change, the firm upgraded GrubHub (GRUB) to Buy from Neutral, downgraded Shutterfly (SFLY) to Neutral from Buy, and lowered Priceline (PCLN) to Buy from Conviction Buy.
