Icahn also announced his intention to nominate a slate of directors for election to the Oshkosh board at the upcoming annual meeting. The tender offer is not subject to due diligence or financing, but will be subject to the election of Mr. Icahnís nominees to the Oshkosh board, Icahn said in a statement. The tender offer will have an initial expiration date of 45 days following commencement.
Oshkosh Defense to build 698 additional FMTVs for U.S. Army Following a $184M order from the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command, Oshkosh Defense, an Oshkosh Corporation company, will produce 698 Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles trucks for the U.S. Army. Deliveries will begin in 2016.
