Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, known as OMA announced the signing of a strategic alliance with VYNMSA Desarrollo Inmobiliario to build and operate an industrial park in the Monterrey International Airport. The project scope includes the development of 28 hectares inside the airport perimeter and bounded by the airport access road and the Miguel Alemán highway. VYNMSA Desarrollo Inmobiliario is a subsidiary of VYNMSA, one of northern Mexico's leading developers of industrial parks, with a reputation for developing secure, AAA-quality facilities for light manufacturing, logistics, and assembly operations, principally for international companies. VYNMSA has developed over 120 projects totaling more than one million square meters. OMA plans to develop land not needed for aeronautical operations at its 13 airports for industrial, logistics, or commercial uses that are directly or indirectly related to airport activities, in order to strengthen the airports' role as focal points of economic development in the cities where they are located. | |
