NYSE says will not resume trading in symbols affected by engine outage The exchange stated in an update to its site: "The NYSE will not resume trading today in the 216 symbols affected by the matching engine outage earlier today. Additionally, the NYSE will NOT hold closing auctions in the 216 affected symbols. A list of the official closing price for each of the 216 securities based on consolidated last sale will be distributed via email and our website...All other NYSE and NYSE MKT listed securities are unaffected by this outage and will have a normal closing auction process. The NYSE cash equities market anticipates a normal trading day in all securities for tomorrow, Tuesday November 13th."
