News Breaks | | | | February 15, 2013 | | 05:53 EDT |  | NYX, NDAQ | Stock trading problems decline, WSJ reports Stock trading troubles in the U.S. have gotten a fair amount of attention in recent months, but exchange data suggest errors requiring trades to be canceled are becoming rarer, reports the Wall Street Journal. The percentage of U.S. stock-trading volume that exchanges canceled last year was the smallest since at least 2004, according to the New York Stock Exchange (NYX ) and the Nasdaq (NDAQ) in 2012 received only a small percent of the requests to cancel erroneous trades that were submitted five years earlier.
