The abrupt departure of Jill Abramson, the executive editor of The New York Times, was "not a mutual decision," the Financial Times reports. Arthur Sulzberger Jr, the chairman and publisher, cited an "issue with management" in announcing Abramson's departure, and Abramson also reportedly clashed with new executive editor Dean Baquet.
