News Corp. (NWSA) CEO Rupert Murdoch wants to buy The Los Angeles Times, an unnamed source close to Murdoch told The New York Times. But the FCC has delayed a vote on revising a rule which currently blocks the company from buying the newspaper, The Times noted. Furthermore, another source said that Murdoch thinks the regulatory hurdles make the deal more trouble than it's worth, the newspaper stated. Reference Link
