The head of News Corp. (NWSA) and newly spun-off 21st Century Fox (FOXA), Rupert Murdoch, was reportedly recorded telling journalists at The Sun in March that the probe into charges of hacking at some of the company's properties was “the biggest inquiry ever, over next to nothing,” reported The New York Times, citing a tape obtained by the investigative Web site Exaro.
