In a Los Angeles federal court, Fox Broadcasting, a News Corp. (NWSA) unit, has asked for a court order to block new “on-the-go” features of Dish Network's (DISH)’s Hopper set-top boxes that allow consumers to watch live and recorded TV shows on smartphones and tablets, reports Bloomberg. Fox alleges the new services breach its license agreement with Dish and infringe the network’s copyrights. Reference Link

Dish Network (DISH) is viewed as a favorite to acquire T-Mobile (TMUS) after Sprint (S) dropped its plans to acquire the company last week, according to Bloomberg, citing analysts at Moody's Investors Service and Macquarie Group.
