Nstar Electric has once again been awarded matching federal stimulus funds from the U.S. Department of Energy to help support two pilot projects focused on smart metering and renewable energy inter-connections in an urban network system. The $7.6M grant represents half of the total cost of both projects, the maximum allowed under the program.
