10:13 EDTNSR, ERICFCC public notice a negative for NeuStar, says Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo says the FCC last night filed a public notice on its website confirming that the North American Numbering Council is recommending Ericsson's (ERIC) Telecordia to run the local number portability administrator contract. Wells views the headline as negative for NeuStar (NSR), but reiterates that with legal delays and a likely lengthy transition period, it expects NeuStar to retain revenue from the contract through mid 2016 and possibly into 2017. It has a Market Performr rating on NeuStar.
