Averages move to session highs The major equity indexes are now uniformly higher and trading at session highs. The tech-heavy Nasdaq had served as the day's laggard trading in the red for much of the session, but has joined the S&P and Dow in positive territory within the last 30 minutes of trade. Market internals are decidedly positive, with advancers leading decliners by 2:1 and up volume leading down volume by the same margin. Crude oil prices are roughly unchanged near $100 a barrel, while the price of gold is up 1.4% with silver prices higher by 4.8%. The Dow is up 115 points, the S&P 500 is up 8 points, and the Nasdaq is up 4 points.
