Stock futures improved slightly during the pre-market trading session, leading to a quiet but mixed open for the broader market. Headlines continue regarding Greece's debt struggles and investors are being kept guessing as to whether a resolution will be reached before the end of the month. The U.S. housing data was mixed and investors are now focused on the two day FOMC meeting that kicks off today. In early trading, the Dow is up 58 points, the Nasdaq is up 11 points and the S&P is up 6 points.

RBOB gasoline futures are steady near $2.10/gallon, as natural gas trade near its one week high, currently at $2.865/M BTU.

U.S. Housing Starts Preview: May housing starts data are expected to decrease 3.1% to a 1,100k (median 1,095k) pace for the month from 1,135k in April. There is some downside risk to the release as the same month's NAHB index declined to 54 from 56 in April.
