07:11 EDTStock futures surge on China advance
Stocks are pointing toward an early surge after the bell once again as the market looks to extend its gains from yesterday. The market is taking its lead from China, which saw its key stock index rise by more than 5% overnight. Domestically, investors will be watching the jobless claims data, GDP report, personal consumption, home sales, and natural gas inventory reports throughout the morning.
07:00 EDTFX Update: The dollar traded mixed
FX Update: The dollar traded mixed, gaining versus the euro and yen, while losing ground to outperforming commodity currencies, which were underpinned by a broader stock market and commodity price rebound on the view that the Fed is now less likely to pull the rate lift-off trigger next month. EUR-USD posted a second lower low in logging a six-day low at 1.1276. USD-JPY rallied to a three-day peak of 119.79. Commodity currency gainers included the South African rand, the rouble and Brazilian real, in addition to the dollar-bloc units. USD-CAD shed over 100 pips in making a two-day low at 1.3197, putting some distance in from Tuesday's 12-year peak at 1.3349. AUD-USD logged a two-day peak of 0.7170. In commodity markets, NYMEX crude prices were showing a 4.5% gain, and copper futures were up by 2.1%. .

11:15 EDTAnd pop go euro$ interest rate futures
And pop go euro$ interest rate futures in the wake of mostly dovish Fed Dudley's remarks after he equivocated on a "less compelling" September hike and deflected a question about the October or December prospects, which he said remain data-dependent. The December 2015 contract jumped 3-ticks to 99.59 (0.41% implied 3-month rate) back to yesterday's highs, up from unchanged earlier, while the deferred contracts are now 2-6 ticks in the green from 2-3 tick losses earlier. The 2-year yield dipped below 0.63% from 0.695% highs earlier -- back to pre-auction levels from Tuesday, while the 10-year tumbled from 2.168% highs to 2.09% before rebounding to 2.12%.
