Up volume is only slightly ahead of down volume on the NYSE, however, though the Nasdaq's up volume leads down volume by a significant margin. Crude oil prices are lower by about 0.2% and gold prices are down 0.4%. The Dow is up 58 points, the Nasdaq is up 17 points and the S&P is up 4 points.
