After Republican Speaker John Boehner last night decided that he would not hold a vote on his "Plan B" legislation, a Republican aide said that the House would adjourn for the week, according to The Hill. The aide added, however, that "the House will return for legislative business after the Christmas holiday when needed," and Boehner said in a statement that President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Reid would have to work on a solution to the fiscal cliff, the website reported.
