Bank of Japan raises asset purchase program to 76T yen The Bank of Japan announced overnight that it will amend its asset purchase program, "with a view to further pursuing aggressive monetary easing." The maximum outstanding amount of financial assets purchased through the program shall now be about 76 trillion yen from 66 trillion yen, the bank said.
