The averages continue to drift though their momentum has carried them steadily higher since midday. The Dow is the biggest winner, up about 0.4%. Advancing stocks are ahead of declining stocks by more than 2:1, while up volume is ahead of down volume by almost 3:1. Oil prices continue to move higher up and gold is fractionally higher. The Dow is up 51 points, the Nasdaq is up 11 points and the S&P is up 3 points.
