Supplies of Nokia's (NOK) Lumia 920, which uses Microsoft's (MSFT) operating system, have been low in several regions, according to Boy Genius. Although supply issues have been partly responsible for this trend, Canaccord Genuity analyst T. Michael Walkley reports that the Lumia 920 was the third best selling device at AT&T (T) in November, Boy Genius says. Reference Link

Barnes & Noble (BKS) shares are up about 15% since TechCrunch said Microsoft (MSFT) may pay $1B for its Nook e-reader business but the stock may have another 50% upside to $30 per share based on Barnes & Noble's asset value, contended Barron's in a report this weekend. Barron's, however, called the situation "admittedly tough to assess" because neither Microsoft nor B&N will comment on the purchase rumor.
