Nimble Storage (NMBL) announced that it signed an exclusive master distribution agreement with Toshiba (TOSBF). As a result of the agreement, Toshiba Cloud and Solutions Company will distribute Nimble Storage hybrid arrays through its value-added distributor and reseller partner community in Japan. In addition, Toshiba IT-Services Corporation will provide local language 24x7 on-site support for all Nimble hybrid storage products throughout Japan. This partnership allows Toshiba to fulfill the increasing demand for hybrid storage solutions in Japan. At the same time, Nimble Storage is positioned to rapidly increase market penetration in Japan with the goal of building a leadership position in the enterprise storage market.
