NovaGold Resources announced that, in response to strong investor demand, it has entered into an agreement to increase the size of its previously announced bought deal equity offering of approximately US$250.8 million (26,400,000 Common Shares) to approximately US$332.5 million (35,000,000 Common Shares) at a price of US$9.50 per share. The offering is being led by RBC Capital Markets and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC. The offering will result in gross proceeds to NovaGold of US$332.5 million. The offering is expected to close on or about February 7, 2012.
