Comcast Business announced that it was awarded a Schedule 70 contract with the General Services Administration, GSA, which enables the company to sell directly to federal, state and local government customers. The initial Schedule 70 applies to Comcast Business Ethernet services. In the future, Comcast said it plans to expand the Schedule to also include its full voice product suite, as well as its Business Internet and Business TV offerings.

The firm calls T-Mobile "a prime target," and thinks the company has several potential suitors and is best positioned to benefit from current trends. Oppenheimer expects the major surviving companies in the space to be Comcast (CMCSA), AT&T (T), Verizon (VZ), and Sprint (S). It keeps Outperform ratings on T-Mobile, Rackspace, Comcast, and Verizon. It has Perform ratings on Level 3, tw telecom, and Sprint.
