The shares are up over 1.7% at time of writing, placing the shares close to, but still below, its 10-day moving average. At the current price of $658.76, next resistance is at $659.52, the 10-day. While the move up today is not insignificant, it is much smaller than moves being made by its mega-cap peers within the Nasdaq 100 index (NDX). Support below is at $654.65.

The EU's new antitrust commissioner, Margrethe Vestager, is making her first trip to Washington, causing some to speculate that she could announce formal charges against Google, according to The New York Times. Such an announcement could increase pressure on Google to settle the case, but Vestager could also recommend further study of the case or give the company a last opportunity to settle before filing formal charges, the newspaper stated.
