ArcelorMittal (MT) is exploring the sale of a 30% stake in its Canadian iron ore business, the Financial Times reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The sources say the steel company has appointed advisers and is sounding out potential buyers of a minority stake in the unit formerly known as Quebec Cartier Mining, which could be worth $8B-$10B.
