A report by InsiderMonkey, citing a "highly placed source inside Microsoft (MSFT)," says reports last week that Microsoft may look to acquire buy Barnes & Noble's (BKS) NOOK Media assets were only a rumor, with the source adding that "[Microsoft] has no intention of acquiring the NOOK unit."
