Details of Microsoft's (MSFT) next-generation Xbox gaming console have begun to emerge as sales of Sony's (SNE) PlayStation 3 console have now matched sales of Xbox 360 at 70M units worldwide, according to a BGR report. Next-generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles are expected to launch for the 2013 holiday season, though BGR notes that possible chip-production issues may push a new Xbox launch back to 2014.
