After MakeMyTrip jumped 6.6% yesterday on a report that Abu Dhabi's Etihad Airways is looking to buy a stake in India's Kingfisher Airlines, Oppenheimer believes that such a deal would keep Kingfisher afloat and could pave the way for other foreign airlines to invest in their Indian counterparts. Such a development could cause passenger volumes to increase and benefit MakeMyTrip and other Indian online travel agencies, according to the firm which maintains an Outperform rating on MakeMyTrip. | |
