Merit Medical Systems announced several new product introductions and corporate developments that will be discussed today at its annual meeting of shareholders. Merit reported that it has received approval from the Chinese government, or CFDA, for its Splittable Sheath. Merit also announced plans to introduce four new products at its summer European sales meeting. These new products include the PreludeEASE Hydrophilic Radial Sheath which complements Merit's Think Radial program, the PHD Hemostatis Valve, the HeartSpan Steerable Sheath and the ReSolve Biliary Drainage Catheter. Additionally, Merit announced that product sales through Merit Sensor Systems continue to expand at a rate of 100% year-to-date. This growth is coming from new product introductions as well as increased demand for existing products.
