Morgans Hotel says court provides opportunity to ratify transaction Morgans Hotel announced yesterday afternoon that the Delaware Court of Chancery has given the company's board the opportunity to ratify the deleveraging transaction, previously announced on April 1, if it receives a favorable recommendation from the special transaction committee of the board. Both the special transaction committee and the board are expected to consider the transaction again in the coming days. The company also announced today that the court entered an order requiring Morgans Hotel Group to proceed with its 2013 annual meeting on Wednesday, May 15.
