Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Foods was approached by McDonald's Japan to provide the franchise with chicken products after the recent food safety scandal in China with Shanghai Husi Food, according to Reuters, citing comments from Charoen Pokphand Foods' president and CEO Adirek Sripratak. Sripratak said, "We have received orders from McDonald's.
