McDonald's (MCD) is set to begin selling chicken wings in Chicago this week as a test, after a similar test in Atlanta, according to the Associated Press. Chicken wing prices have been increasing over the past year as more restaurants begin selling them, the news service quoted an agriculture economist at the U.S. Department of Agriculture as saying. The prices could continue to rise, AP added. Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD) is down 1.5% in mid-afternoon trading. Reference Link

Adding online ordering functionality to its existing NCR technology solution will enable Buffalo Wild Wings to manage both on and off-premise transactions within one system. Aloha Online Ordering enables Buffalo Wild Wings customers to order online and avoid wait times on the phone. Their payment information is securely stored for future orders and they can review their order. All web orders are instantly distributed to the appropriate store and then routed to the kitchen.

Since President Obama called for an increase in the federal minimum wage 14 months ago, seven states and Washington, DC have passed such an increase, according to The New York Times. Meanwhile, 34 other state legislatures have started debating the issue and activists in another eight states are looking to get proposals for minimum wage increases on voter ballots, the newspaper stated. Companies that could be affected by minimum wage increases include McDonald's (MCD), Burger King (BKW), Wendy's (WEN), Jack in the Box (JACK), Dunkin Donuts (DNKN), and Sonic Corporation (SONC).
