Fast food workers plan to hold another strike across the U.S. today, but this time will attempt to broaden the strike to fast food restaurants in 30 other countries, according to The New York Times. The workers want their compensation raised to $15 per hour, the newspaper stated. Companies that could be affected by minimum wage increases include McDonald's (MCD), Burger King (BKW), Wendy's (WEN), Jack in the Box (JACK), Dunkin Donuts (DNKN), and Sonic Corporation (SONC). RBC Capital believes that Dunkin' Donuts' deal to sell K-cups in mass channels will increase its EPS by less than 1c in 2015 and by 4c-5c in 2016. The firm expects the company's biggest benefit from the deal to be an increase in its credibility as "a coffee authority," and it thinks the agreement will improve the company's performance in the U.S. markets which it is entering. RBC keeps a $50 price target and Outperform rating on the stock.
