14:11 EDTSCGLY, BAC, MBIMBIA suit brought by banks to go to trial, says MKM Partners
Justice Barbara Kapnick decided to go forward with a “bench” trial to begin on May 14 in the Article 78 case brought by Bank of America (BAC) and Societe Generale (SCGLY) against MBIA (MBI) and the New York Insurance Department, said MKM Partners. The firm said the judge is not allowing the banks to expand the case and thinks that MBIA and the NYID will win.
