Main Street announced that on December 23, 2013 it fully exited its debt and equity investment in Thermal and Mechanical Equipment through the acquisition of TMEC by LKCM Distribution Holdings. Main Street realized a gain of approximately $10.8M on the sale of its equity ownership interests, and on a cumulative basis since Main Street's initial investment in TMEC in September 2009, Main Street realized a total internal rate of return of 42.6% and a 3.1 times money invested return on its debt and equity investment in TMEC.

Main Street Capital announced that it recently led a financing totaling $17.0M of invested capital in Guerdon Enterprises to support the majority recapitalization of Guerdon, with Main Street funding $13.6M of the financing in this new portfolio investment. Main Street's portion of the financing included an $11.2M first lien, senior secured term loan and a $2.4M equity investment. In addition, Main Street and its co-investor in the financing are also providing Guerdon an undrawn revolving line of credit to support its future working capital needs. Main Street and its co-investor partnered with Riverlake Partners a private equity firm based in Portland, Oregon, and Guerdon's founder to facilitate the transaction.
