The company is seeking approval to add hotel rooms, exhibition space and other non-gaming space in Macau, it said. The company said it is "very confident" in its future in Macau, which it views as the best gaming environment in the world. Las Vegas Sands noted it is in the process of hiring an executive search firm to head a search for a replacement for COO Mike Leven, who is retiring at the end of the year. Comments from the company's annual meeting of stockholders.
