| 08:48 EDT |  | LUV | Southwest reports May revenue passenger miles up 4.2% to 9.3B Southwest Airlines announced that the company flew 9.3B revenue passenger miles in May, a 4.2% increase from the 9.0B RPMs flown last May. Available seat miles increased 3.4% to 11.4B from last May's level of 11.0B. The May load factor was 81.9%, compared to 81.3% last May. For May, passenger revenue per ASM is estimated to have decreased approximately 2% compared to last May. |
