Notary guilty of fraud found dead, Las Vegas Sun reports
According to authorities, Las Vegas-area notary public Tracy Lawrence was found dead several hours after missing sentencing on a misdemeanor fraud charge. Lawrence had earlier admitted to notarizing "tens of thousands of fraudulent documents" as part of a wider foreclosure fraud scheme involving employees of Lender Processing Services (LPS).
