RONA has not received any proposal from Lowe's RONA inc., the largest distributor and retailer of hardware, home renovation and gardening products in Canada, categorically denies reports published in the daily newspaper La Presse on Nov. 10, suggesting that it has received an offer from U.S.-based Lowe's Companies. RONA has not received any proposal of any kind from Lowe's and there have been no discussions between the two companies on this subject. RONA adds that its policy is not to comment on rumors.

This new repurchase program has no expiration date and adds to the previous program's balance, which was $2.4B as of January 30.
