Spark Networks shareholders reject poison pill proposal, director resigns Spark Networks disclosed in a regulatory filing that at its annual meeting on June 27 shareholders did not approve a stockholder proposal regarding poison pills. Stockholder proposals to amend the company’s bylaws to permit stockholders to call special meetings and to allow beneficial stockholders to submit proposals and nominations for director were approved, the filing showed. Additionally, Thomas Stockham resigned from the board of directors of Spark Networks, effective as of the certification of the results of the 2014 annual meeting, which occurred on July 2.
