Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training has been awarded a $914.7M fixed-price-incentive-firm, cost-reimbursable and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering, manufacturing and development, production and deployment for the Space Fence program. The contractor will have 52 months after contract award to reach initial operational capability. FY13 and FY14 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $415M are being obligated at time of award.
