10:01 EDTLMTLockheed Martin an awardee on DHS IT contract
The Department of Homeland Security has selected Lockheed Martin as a prime contractor authorized to compete for future information technology task orders on the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions -- EAGLE -- II contract. The contract award is in the Functional Category 1 Unrestricted track. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a five-year base period with one two-year option period. EAGLE II is designed to offer a broad range of services, solutions and contract types to fulfill the majority of component and departmental IT service needs. Lockheed Martin has been a contractor on the original EAGLE I contracting vehicle since 2006.
